My kitchen sink faucet is dripping

Is it very hard to replace the washer?

    @anita forget It is not difficult to replace a washer. You just unscrew the lowest connection - sorry my terminology is not professional - but usually there is a piece at the bottom of the faucet where the water comes out that unscrews and the washer is inside that. You need to have the right size washer and then replace, screw back on and voila it is done. Hope this helps - you can always go to a home depot or lowes or even a Canadian Tire for more advice or to get a better picture. Do up date us on the results of your diy project.

    Some faucets do not have washers, but do have a kind of cartridge unit you can buy at Home Depot. I learned this by googling noisey leaky faucet. saw a youtube video on how to replace it.

    First shut off the water supply line. Depending on the type of faucet you have, some have cartridges in them with more than one washer. If you google it you will probably find a utube showing how to do it.
