I want to remove the metal vents and replace with wood flooring. Does anyone know or can recommend a hardwood flooring contractor please?

broke. Meanwhile I would like to keep the cold air and smell out of the house and would like to replace the wood as close to the original color (pecan) as we can. It is a 1947 home so there aren't but 2 bdrm closets to pull wood flooring from. I've thought of the wood vents but would prefer a permanent solution. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
