  • this is what the frame looks like before the wooden seat
  • this is what the frame looks like ours is welded, but can be bolted together
  • the seat is 12 1/2 inches wide all parts of the frame are made out of the old bed rails
  • the headboard you use will determine how wide you seat is ours is 39 1/2 inches
  • the height of the legs are 15 1/2 inches
  • the flanges on the bed rails make it easy to attach to the headboard ( bed rail is easy to cut with a hacksaw )
  • we used a old table leaf for the seat ,just sanded it down and varnished

Fall display from an old pig house.

Love, love, love this old pig house that was in our woods for over 30 years. Just couldn't let it sit and rot so we cut off the front end of it with a chainsaw and moved it to my shade garden where it can be enjoyed in every season.

Patio Bliss

After seeing a picture on Pinterest as inspiration my husband built me a little haven by our patio using old doors. He hinged them together and secured one across the top. It took him ...»
