Flooring: We have 17 year old hardwoods in kitchen area.

We do not want to go through the hassle of having them sanded down and refinished. Is there a product or a process that would clean and restore an acceptable shine without sanding?

fridges were "stainless steel look" (at least in my sub-$1200 price range). The way to tell? Bring a magnet. It won't stick to a "stainless plated" surface. This is important if you stick your life in living color with magnets on every inch of your fridge like we do. We ended up with a supposed titanium finish on an LG model to get actual metal... looks like stainless to me!
