Upcycling a Canvas Art Thrift Find

I had a canvas art thrift find that I bought for a project that never materialized. So I recently pulled out the artwork and created this piece of Valentine's decor. Paint and stencils gave this piece a whole new look and a whole new life!
This is what I started with - cute but didn't go with my style of decor. The heavy texture of this piece was cool so I worked it into the new design.
I cut a stencil to add the hashtag to the bottom
I used the letters from the stencil and stuck them to the painting.
