Traditional Advent Corolla
Another Croatian tradition related to Christmas time / Advent. It is a corolla (or a wreath?) that is table centerpiece for 4 sundays prior to Christmas.
Advent is a period of year when we all prepare ourselves spiritually for a Christmas Day. Corolla itself has 4 candles, symbols for 4 Sundays. On first sunday, during family dinner, first canled lights. Next sunday, two etc. It lights from the beginning untill the end of dinner. These candles don't put out by blowing, but by wine-dipped piece of bread, usually by the youngest in the family.
