After digging through my "bits 'n pieces bin" and finding two leftover ceramic knobs, I decided I could easily create some NO SEW MEMORY BOARDS.
These beautiful, blue ceramic knobs was my inspiration.
I purchased a package of two artists canvases ($3.99 at HL), a pack of "Fat quarter" fabric ($9.99 but I used a 40% off HL coupon) and a roll of coordinating satin ribbon.
After cutting the fabric about 1-1/2" wider...
I simply stapled the fabric on the back of the canvas frame. I used a "package wrapping" method for the corners. (see more details on my blog)
On one board, I created a French Ribbon Memory Board by simply crossing and weaving ribbon across the front. (visit my blog to get full details how I attached it)
For the second board, I attached the knobs with Loctite Power Grab Adhesive...
... then attached an alligator clip to the top to hold postcards and mementoes.
I love how the fabrics and ribbons and knobs all coordinate together.
Perfect for displaying one of the postcards I have collected through my travels.
You could easily use this same technique to make larger boards.

Fab and Pretty on Feb 09, 2015Well, have to say you sent me in a direction today. I had a piece of print-art-on-canvas my daughter bought then rejected, I had ceramic knobs, and I saw your tub caulk post... Thank you for the inspiration!
