True, White furniture is very popular right now. I like the clean look it offers combined with a nice modern design. Old-fashioned white furniture doesn't give that impression. It's beautiful too especially the country style beds, cabinets etc but it doesn't look as sleek. I have never been a fan of modern furniture until recently. I'm in love with the new designs coming up. I think if you like more traditional elements like me you can always make a room look cozy with modern furniture by adding some vintage decorative accessories: a lamp, flower bouquet, plate on the wall etc I hope this makes sense to you :-)
