Birch Log Succulent Centerpiece

Have had this birch log for months now. I picked it up at our local grocery store. I liked the idea that you could take a crackling flame wherever you go with this portable bonfire log needing just a single match to light. Each birch log is kiln-dried and finished with a braided handle for easy toting. So off it went to AZ (intended for some sister time gathered around a bonfire) over the Thanksgiving weekend, but when we got there my SIL had filled her firepit with some beautiful flowers.
