DIY Natural Yoga Mat Cleaner

You all know by now that I love yoga – like a lot. In 2014, however, I fell off that bandwagon real hard. I’m happy to say that I’ve rekindled my love for yoga and have been practicing almost every day. I’ve been turning on yoga videos instead of heading to an in-person class, because it’s honestly not in my budget right now.
Since I’ve been practicing yoga more regularly, I realized that my yoga mat was getting pretty gross. I didn’t want to go out and buy a chemical-filled cleaner, so after doing some research I decided to make my own!
Ingredients:

1 Spray bottle

Water

Witch Hazel

10 drops tea tree oil

5 drops eucalyptus oil (or any other essential oil you like)

Instructions:

Fill spray bottle 3/4 of the way with water

Fill rest of bottle with witch hazel, leaving an inch at the top

Add in 10 drops of tea tree oil and 5 drops eucalyptus oil

Tighten the spray bottle top and shake well

Thanks so much girl for a great recipe! I love Yoga and try to do a little everyday. It is like getting a body massage after I do a 45 minute class. Idea, if you are dealing with a tight budget; some first classes are free or for a couple of dollars. Try to hook-up with other Yoga girls and guys and all you need is a floor and a TV to play the classes; change location every two weeks. There is also a chain of clubs that costs only 10 dollars a month and have mats and equipment without teachers or classes ,and you can go their; use the mats. You may discover that their are some like minded individuals that will yoga with you.
