My Living Room Makeover

Good morning, if you follow me on Instagram (if not you should my handle is GlamistaHome :) ) you already know that I have redecorated my living room space. It’s nothing major, I didn’t knock down any walls or repainted, but I changed up my color palette and went for a more monochromatic look.
I eliminated the aqua and green shades and went for a nice white on white with some pops of metallic. Here is a before picture.

Yes, that is my dog on the white sofa and white pillows. Right after I took the shot she made herself comfortable on top of the pillows. :) Don’t be afraid of light colors when you have animals or children.

..I hadnt seen a ' before' photo...but this looks fresh, and not too ' stark' . I am usually put off by stark looking rooms, I prefer cozy. It looks cozy and inviting !

  @Shelby @ The Weathered Barn Studio Hello Shelby, the before shot is on my blog. It was far more colorful, I feel this monochromatic look is much more reflective of what I really like and who I am. Thank you for the comment. I like it cozy and inviting as well. My dog seems to enjoy it. :)
