Concrete overlay countertops
I am going to be doing some home renovations, new paint color and new counter tops, I would like a more industrial (manly) look for my bathroom and kitchen counter tops. I want concrete natural color, but it is $$. I have looked at several DIY projects using concrete overlay on laminate and cultured marble...I need some unbiased opinions.

i just did my counter tops in my kitchen with the encore concrete kit...they came out fabulous!!

I checked on the above mentioned product, its not recommended for sinks. I have seen Ardex used in sinks and counter-tops, has anyone used this product.

I tiled my sink counter tops and large island keeping the joints thin. I use lemon oil to seal. Bought tile from habitat reuse store. Sink counter is all one color the island is 2 colors. tiles are 12" X 12" these are set in thin set (concrete).
