Free wood pallets?

I am a Lufkin resident needing wood pallets. Free wood pallets. I am disabled and planning on doing some gardening with my spare time. Last year my garden was raided often by cats and squirrels. I am pretty sure I have the squirrels trained to eat from the treats we put in the yard near the fence, however the neighborhood stray cats frequently use my soft dirt as their personal bathroom. My grandson even got sick from being in contact with their feces. I have seen pictures where used pallets have been used to make a fence. I have a way and some help to load them, I just need to know where to find them. PLEASE contact me.

@NicoleRusk: There are tons of pallet ideas on Pinterest. I also have them on my Pinterest board (Pallet-able DIY) on Pinterest & they include fences. Best of luck. My site is located here: https://www.pinterest.com/sunshyne321/pallet-able-diy/ You can find pallets at your local grocery store, big box stores like Walgreens, Lowe's & Home Depot and even some pharmacies. They are usually behind the stores.

MAKE sure you use pallets that HAVE NOT been treated with chemicals - very few of the pinterest posts explain the markings that are stamped or burned into the wood explaining what to look for... there are certain paints (chemicals) that you would not want to have in the ground around food (generally the plain wooden pallets are good BUT in our plant, those are the ones that ALL of our dangerous chemicals are shipped on.

Call your public works dept and see if they have any they are willing to give away. We get things delivered here all the time and just grind pallets up in mulch pile.
