Hanging artwork and small mirrors on plaster walls?

Well you all helped me find what kind of walls I had, now I need a little help from any one that has hung kinda heavy artwork in frames and small mirrors (so they don't break) on the walls? Anyone had the pleasure of trying to do a gallery on plaster walls?

Have plaster walls. Use a drill with a fine bit to make a hole for a nail. Make a larger one for really heavy things so you can use those plug/screw inserts. Sometimes you run into the lath so a drill will handle that.
