Well, we just want to know if there are any other suggestions of things we need to think about when buying mattresses or children beds for a child?

Safety first, of course. I have very recent and scary experience with this. We just moved my two-year-old into his mom's old bunk beds (the bottom bunk). We had a party with a house full of other kids this weekend. One got up on the top bunk, and a slat under that mattress broke through and fell on another kid on the bottom bunk (she was totally fine, just a little surprised). Anyhow, nobody else is going on that top bunk until I get a chance to go to Home Depot and cut a full board to put under the top bunk. The other thing we have run into with the bunk beds is attaching a lamp. I think you should consider buying bunk beds with the ability to attach a clip-on LED light (LEDs don't get hot, so less fire danger, and it won't get hot to the touch).

Hi @ , thanks for your correspondence. Very helpful feedback indeed. The story you shared is very scary. I strongly agree with you on the safety measure in choosing children's beds. Glad to know everyone was fine during that incidents.
