We Tested Ways to Cut Bathroom Smells

2ms2
by 2ms2
We tested matches, essential oils, plain candles, scented candles, aerosol spray, and central air conditioning. We tested them on both "emergency level" and "ambient" bathroom smells. The result? The best for emergency level smells was lighting a match, or scented spray. The least effective was candles, scented and plain. What works for you?
Candles sure are romantic!

I use Pinesol Blue.....and it smells wonderful. Not overwhelming. I also pour a little down the tub and then the sink. Works great for me. Good luck.

I keep vinegar about an inch deep in my elderly mother's bedside potty. It neutralizes the odor quickly. I empty #2s promptly, but urine could stay in longer without causing an odor.
