An Idea for Small Leftover Pieces of Wood From DIY Projects

I had a stack of small pieces of leftover wood stacked on top of a cabinet that was about to tumble down on my head! Instead of tossing them I found a creative and organizational use for them.
This stack of wood was about to fall on my head. Now they are helping organize my craft room.
A hole drilled and a countersink makes an easy way to thread twine through. Fun, funky, chunky wood tags!
Six were paint using chalky type paint. Then I printed words on freezer paper and rubbed the lettering on top.
Three wood tags were painted with chalkboard paint.
I can easily change the labels on the chalkboard painted tags when needed.
The craft area is the hardest to organize. But I'm going to keep working on it.
The wood tags were added to various containers that sit on my revolving bookcase in the craft area.
I like the chunkiness of the tags and it's better than the wood scraps falling on my head! :)
