How to Upcycle REAL Eggshells Into Decorative Book Page Eggs

Easy
When I was a little girl, my Mother taught me how to remove the yolks & whites from inside an egg without crushing the shell. So, I decided to create some decorative book page eggs in memory of her.
First I washed the egg and added a hole to each end using a pin. I then blew out the insides into a bowl to use for making breakfast. I added a little water afterwards to clean out the inside and blew it into the sink.
I then printed out old French dictionary pages and ripped out some pages from a worn out paperback that was ready for recycle.....

Don't skewer me friends. I love reading and crafting with book pages is a way that I can love a book a little longer, after it's no longer fit to be read...missing pages and etc.
I cut the pages into strips and used Mod Podge to add several layers of strips.
Once completely covered in a few layers of paper, I added a couple of coats of Mod Podge to the outside to seal the strips and give the eggs a finished look.
