Upcycle Metal Artwork to Pot Rack

I had ripped out my pantry and was faced with a seven foot challenge. The space was small...but tall....and I needed to use every square inch for visual interest and function.
So, I went shopping...under the bed in the guest room, and found two pieces of wood and metal artwork just lying there gathering dust.
Then I rummaged through the basement for my stash of dried flowers....and while I was at it I found this grape-vine wall piece. Well. Somebody pinch me.
Believe it or not it's another upcycle dream come true. Everythig fit together beautifully. More pictures and how I put it all together are at http://thechelseaprojectblog.wordpress.com or direct via the URL below.

You know I just love it when you stop by. Hope to see you soon.
...edited.......the next post in the pantry redo is also up.....the FARMHOUSE STYLE SKIRT...... three seams max.....sew or no sew......either way.

"I went shopping....under the bed in the guest room".... haha! I love that sentence. All DIY creataholics totally get that. Those who just GO SHOPPING probably think we're nuts. Will go check out your blog!

@Colleen I love this! I keep a lot of my treasures waiting for inspiration under the guest bed as well. When my kids visit they always check to see what's new. Right now there are some baskets, some small wall shelves, a couple of corbels planned to support a shutter shelf in my bathroom. Also, a box of fabric and some finials. Thank goodness it's an old bed that's really high off the floor. Also, love your travertine counters, we did ours the same way.
  • ...I am not alone.. in my ' house shopping'...LOL. Great job.
