White, Gold and Grey Chair Makeover

I love me a good chair makeover and I'm kicking myself for not buying more of these $5 chairs! They would have made a great set for a dining room!
Here's the before...
I started out by unscrewing the seat and removing that nasty old fabric. Only to find...more nasty old fabric!
Oaks got his stinky little nose in there too.


Not only did the fabric clearly need to be replaced but so did the wood.


I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of particle board and traced the old wood shape onto that and cut it out with my jigsaw.
