A chemical to coat a stone floor was splashed on a leather chair

Does anybody know what I should use to get a chemical off a leather chair? Someone accidently splashed on the chair and now is there anything I could do to get it off?

The answer really depends on the chemical, but a leather cleaner (I have leather wipes from Auto Zone) or an oil soap (ie Murphy's) are probably viable options.
