Chair Makeover for the Beginner!

I'm sharing a recent makeover to a pair of chairs! Just wait until you see these chairs transform right before your eyes! And I'm sharing a descriptive tutorial so you can do it too!
It's like a love-hate relationship that I have with Craigslist... I say this because I love it, my husband not so much!! How many of you can relate, haha! Anyways, I scour my local Craigslist often to find reasonable, or sometimes even free, furniture in need of a little love! Upon looking, I found a set of large chairs that were in great shape.
I skipped the primer and got right to painting. My favorite and go-to paint is Valspar Swiss Coffee. It's a beautiful, rich white that I really just love! I gave each chair a good two coats, letting them dry completely in between. I didn't remove the fabric because it was anchored on for dear life with a commercial style glue. I opted for using drop cloth I purchased from Lowe's for just over $10! It's a great alternative to neutral fabric, it's super affordable and durable!
Did I mention that this was my FIRST reupholster ever? Yup, sure was! Although I got scared at times, I just moved with the flow and took my time. For full details on how I did the drop cloth and trim, please visit my blog post!
