Reclaimed Wood Herringbone Backsplash For Bathroom Vanity

This was made with old tounge and groove porch boards that I picked up from a pile out for trash in someone's yard. I loaded as much in my small trailer as possible and have lots of project ideas to use them for. I also made the vanity top with the full size in horizontal pattern.
Mixed tone up cycled wooden backsplash
I used my table saw to rip off the tounge and grooves then ripped the planks in half lengthwise. I randomly picked a consistent length for each piece. Next I grabbed a very thin veneer type rectangle board to glue the wood to. Let dry then I cut the edges to make clean edges.

@hannah, I forgot to mention that I decided that it may look even better with a stainless /metal lightly trimmed frame to give the edges a polished look. I picked up some materials today to see how it looks. I'll let ya'll know if it works!
