    I absolutely love wood and these are all neat ideas. I've been dreaming of a wood slice walkway since I saw it on Pinterest about a year ago. It'll happen since, sadly, we have a a number of trees that had to be taken down and more to come.

    wonder if a person could use the small circles glued to the floor and grouted and then sealed. would love something like that on my kitchen floor. have to think about this idea.

    Hmm, I have some black walnut logs in the back and I took a few branches that were about the size you mentioned for Coasters. I think the black walnut logs will turn into excellent looking coasters because of their unique black center. I'll post pictures of when that project is complete, thanks for the tutorial on how to do it.
