Adding a little "farm" to our home.

2012 was an exciting year for us. We converted an old shed into a chicken house. We have now been enjoying fresh eggs for a few months. I am eagerly awaiting Chick Days again, as I am wanting to add a few more to our family.
We are the proud parents to Silver Laced Wyandottes, Buffs and Rhoad Island Reds.

Jayme...they are so much fun. You will love them. We actually ordered Easter Eggers this year...so we will have blue and green eggs in the fall. :) I'm gonna try to purchase my Silkies already grown I think. You had to buy them in lots of 40....and we only need but a few. Good luck with your coop! (Lots of ideas on Pinterest!)
