Will those natural scent not attract ants to your home?

I want my house to smell good using a natural method but I feel that if it will only attract ants to my home because either fruit and spices are being used.
For example: Orange and cinnamon in a jar with whatever else is added will probably, in my opinion, attract the ants. What has been your experience with this method of scenting your home?

I hate to say it but I don't know for sure. Let me do some research on that and ill let her know. What I do know is this.Ants are more random foragers rather than following smells. So what happens is they go out and scout for food ,and than they leave what is s called a pheromone trail back to the colony so the other ants can follow that to the food source. What attracts ants is different with each species since they feed on different things, Some are sweet feeding ants and some are protein. so I am, not sure how to answer this. I would check to see what the material is made of and I will get an answer for you. I love it when I don't know the answer and I am required to learn something new Thanks for the challenge I will let you know as soon as I can.

Many herbs actually repel insects by being scented. List all your pests and then search online for lists of "plants that repel...". Peony buds create a sap that attracts ants.
