Royal Blue & Gold Dresser

I bought this piece as part of a bedroom set at an estate auction. From the start I knew I wanted to go "classy" with this dresser.
Here's a quick "before":
I used milk paint by General Finishes called Coastal Blue. It's not quite a navy blue, but a shade lighter and so gorgeous! It has such a dimension of colors, and changes a little in different lighting - love it!

Painting phase:
I kept the original fixtures and used gold Rub 'N Buff on them, and lined the top drawers.
In love with how it turned out!

Even though this project was originally posted almost 7 years ago, navy with gold hardware has become quite trendy right now in kitchen cabinets and furniture.
