Painted Hutch

My husband bought this for me over 12 years ago and have always wanted to paint it This Hutch was so dark it had damage on the top from the previous owner overwatering plants . I was not sure what color I wanted to use as I like lots of color., so I decided on an off white we had stored in the garage,I could esily paint it aging if I did not like the results"right" I distressed it by removing paint with a scrubby pad in the accent areas I wanted to bring out the scalloped design.

After -satin finish paint

I have a hutch almost identical, I painted mine white also and removed the door and use it in my bathroom for towels and I have baskets in side for extra storage! looks great :)
