Walnut is my all time fave wood for furniture. I had several huge walnut pieces that I sold before moving south and I miss their beauty! When the sunlight hit my old walnut table around 3pm, i swear that wood came alive!! Such a patina (it was a 120yo antique.) Your wife is one LUCKY woman!! A labor of love...in walnut!!! wow!!
