Found this vintage suit case at a thrift store for $2 and had just the right idea for it.
This is what it looks like hanging on the wall. Thought at first I would decorate it but with the word art project I have next to it I felt it would be too much. I may change my mind though.
Suitcase when bought.
Peeling leather
The corners were not in the best of shape hence the reason for using denim ribbon on the edges. I Mod Podged it for a smoother finish.
Added shelves to hold shot glasses, shakers, double old fashions and coasters.
Used Velcro strips to make dividers to hold barware items on the already present suitcase organizer.
Perfect size for space.
Adds a nice touch to our entertaining area of our dining room. See, I think by keeping it plain it will not be to busy looking next to my wine crate word art cabinet. Now all I need to do is come up with a cabinet idea to hide the kegerator.
