I am looking to purchase unused tasles, beads, dressage for my camels

I hand craft all sorts of wood animals.. particularly desert camels... I would like to purchase in good condition used hats with tassels and any kind or artsy stuff I can hang of my camels.

Well they walk a different path. How fun, and so creative. These little guys would look great in my city, we are a big diverse culture and have lots of local artist. I have several curtain ties, and tassels. I was actually grouping them to sell at my garage sale soon.

I love the camels!! I saw an easy tassel idea online. http://pagingsupermom.com/2013/09/easiest-mini-tassels/ Use other yarn or twine by winding it around cardboard or a book to make the skein. If using embroidery floss, you can put two skeins together to make the tassels fatter. It's one of those "Why didn't I think of that ideas." I've been making tassels from embroidery floss for years, but never thought of making two at a time!

These are teriffic. Do you carve (shape) the heads yourself? We have remnant stores in the DFW area. Is there anything like that near you? Also, secondhand clothing stores sometimes have gently used and even net items in their inventory.

Try dollar tree stores. Maybe Salvation Army or Goodwill. Estate sales. Good luck. Your camels are looking good. It might be good for Christmas play display. Happy crafting to you.
