The Making of a French Inspired Fireplace Screen

I love french and shabby. I have a lot of plain front cabinet doors I picked up and have been slowly making things with them. This is one of my favorites so far. Using 3 doors, I created a decorative fireplace screen. It's jsut for decoration though, since it's wood.
Here are the 3 doors I used. I removed all hardware before I got started.
Here you can see my sketch of the shapes I wanted them to be.
Here is what they look like once I cut them out.
I used some spackle and a few stencils to create some designs on each piece. Don't be afreaid to use only sections of a stencil.
Here is it with the raised stencil all finished and drying.
I painted it with old white.
I used clear wax on the whole thing and dark wax on the stencils to achieve my finished look.
Here's a nice close up.
