Kitchen Remodel in old adobe home
Recently completed complete remodel of an old adobe home. Occupant was a hoarder with several cats. This post is just the kitchen, but I will post the whole project as I have time. The greatest challenges were limited space and the fragile nature of 90 year old adobe walls.
Kitchen on day 1 after cosiderable cleanup.
Existing wall unit was built by owners father and had to be incorporated into finished product
Nothing in this old house was plumb or square.
I furred out the walls to plumb and square, Built custom cabinets and installed stock countertops from Home Depot. Incorporated existing shelf unit at owners request.
