When a new dining room table isn't in the budget or your find an inexpensive one at a garage sale or thrift store, why not consider refinishing it yourself. I refinished this table with the help of my 13 year old son.

OMG I have the exact same project on my list to do. Except where yours is black my is hunter green but I want to pain the green parts black to give it an updated look. It's in great shape and I am afraid of ruining it! Any suggestions? Thanks!
