Leather chair repair

I have a black leather chair that I love, however so does my cat! Before I could get him a scratch post, guess what he used!! Does anyone know how to repair the chair without putting a cover on it? If I need a cover, does anyone have a pattern they can share? Thanks

Hi, I read somewhere to gently push back the damaged nap ( looks like scales). Rub a natural bees wax candle in that direction. Then take a soft cloth and smooth the nap back down. I did this on my white leather sofa and it worked like magic! I have no idea if it's a temporary fix or if it will last years. Good luck

There are leather/vinyl repair kits that you can get to fix small tears and holes.

I will see what I can find, not sure if either method will work since there are many holes! I will let you know. Thanks for sharing!
