French Graphic Painted Dresser

This little dresser had a ton of veneer damage and large watermarks on the top, but when we saw this little gem sitting in a thrift shop we just had to take it home.
There was a significant amount of veneer missing or peeling on the drawers and on both sides of the dresser. There was also quite a bit of damage to the top, including these big water marks. The interior of the drawers were missing nails and needed some repairs as well.
After painting the outside and adding the graphic, I decided to add some fun detail to the drawers too.

Spectacular! Can't stop looking at it. The decoupage is brilliant and adds to the French-nostalgic wine theme. Have you ever tried wine crate shelving? It's a different look, but I can see that a decoupage may be possible on them too. Perhaps a walnut stain to distress them, or white paint to enhance a cottage-chic theme? Somewhere in the original post I saw about this, it said specifically to check your website for products used to fill missing veneer... but I can't find where you've mentioned any product you used.
