Beach Inspired Driftwood Railing

We live at the beach and we find quite a bit of driftwood. I thought it would be fun to incorportate some driftwood into our home. We found these large pieces that fit perfectly on the stairway going downstairs. We let them dry out for a while and bleached/cleaned them well. They are put on with regular banister holders, just like a regular piece of wood for the stairway would go on. I put a varnish on them to seal them well. There is one on the other side also, looks the same as this one.
