Valentine's Day Mantel
I used a bike wheel in my Christmas mantel display, and as I was putting away my decorations, it dawned on me that I could use my red bike wheel to display vintage Valentines too. So the red bike wheel became the anchor of my Valentine's Day mantel too.
Other items in the vignette, include oil lamps, a lantern, doilies, faux greenery, a head vase, a "love" sign, a heart garland, a sewing machine drawer, a red tray, a book, and a felt red rose.
I have about 50 vintage valentines that I received as a child from relatives and classmates.
