I didn't want to have to purchase a whole box of blinds, so I decided to save money by repairing a broken slat with only a bamboo skewer and a small piece of packing tape!
here is the broken slat before:
don't you hate it when this happens and it leaves an opening?
a small piece of packing tape & bamboo skewer
I taped the bamboo skewer that I snapped to fit the width of the opening to "bridge" the broken area.
I used packing tape for strength
easy fix, haven't had one of these break, and it saved me a trip to the store....
all done
I like saving money these types of repairs

No, I haven't, but I had my own window treatments business for many years and know all types of window blinds/coverings inside and out. The flatness and the thickness of a popsicle stick would work quite well with the type of repair you need.

actually, a Popsicle stick would be too bulky for this repair because the clip that holds each blind needs something thinner to grasp onto. Look at the photos for reference

Ty so much. I hated leaving my blinds looking a mess until payday💛💙💜💚.
