I recently read somewhere about a quick way to make stepping stones and decided to try it. The more I thought about what I read, I realized I could do it even 'quicker and easier'. So I did.

I started these last year...Have a few to go. I put some netting down in the hole before I put
( I used Quik Crete no mixing ) mix in ...water it and it sets. Mine are great. I did put a round piece of gardening border around mine to get them more circular which I remove, but doing their way would work too. Mine are set just a tad below grass line so I can run lawn mower over them to keep them trimmed.
Using a 1/2" threaded pipe at each end, slightly bent at the top, drill a hole in the bottom of the kettle and insert 3/8" soft rubber tubing down thru the pipe and close off the bottom of the kettle with a galvanized floor flange . Use a pond pump that will lift water 7-8 ft, follow those directions for it but to place it to the barrell,( which is a large plastic type, we were afraid a whiskey barrell would leak,) drill a hole in the outside lower edge and insert pump tubing, use

know my repairman said it was hard to find...but I looked on line (love the internet) and found it at www.soapgoods.com I bought 6 lb container...I use at least a teaspoon or two a day. My glasses are always sparkling clean now. Glad to help.
