Abandoned Nativity Scene Gets a Spring Makeover

This little nativity set caught my eye one morning after dropping the kids at school. It was sitting on the curb next to the trash waiting for the inevitable. I peeked inside and everything looked to be in good shape, so I brought it home with a plan.
I knew my 3YO would go bananas for a hands on craft that he can help and play with in the end. My plan was to take the sad little structure and turn it in to a fairy house.
Armed with a few craft supplies and accessories, the structure was transformed into a magical little fairy habitat that made a big impression and lasting memories with a sweet boy. We even added twin bunnies to celebrate both Spring and the holiday.
Spring has sprung in our area and we are ready to accommodate any fairies who come our way.
