Way too much serger thread

I have a lot of cone thread, and have no idea how to store and display it nicely. My sewing room is very small. Advice would be appreciated.

Mounted on the wall on a rack like this. This one is for smaller thread spools, but they made them for larger cones. http://www.amazon.com/Spool-Cone-Wood-Thread-Rack/dp/B000W6YMEW/ref=cm_pl_pg_t

another idea is to cut a pegboard to the size you'd like, paint it to match the decor in your sewing room, and hang it with pegs placed so you can add your spools... i keep mine in a drawer, actually.. i don't have that much and my walls are taken up with sewing and embroidery spools... good luck! :)

I had the same problem and went to Joann's and bought a clear plastic snap top bin on sale and stowed all my cones in it . I can see thru it to see what I have or need and it will stack if it's necessary.

I used to use a spice rack that was adaptable to hang on the wall.

I have seen a beautiful display of color-coordinated spindles of thread in a shadow box. I am not a sewer so do not know if your cones would fit in a shadow box, but you may want something more functional.
