DIY Book Page Decor

I created a little reading corner in my daughter's nursery, but it was missing something.
To go with the Pan theme of her room, I created an easy bunting strand using and images from the Disney movie!
I started by printing the images onto book pages from an old book that was falling apart.

I trimmed the bottom, and added some simple twine. Ribbon would look beautiful with this as well.

    I love this. I know some would gasp and say defacing a book is sacrilegious, but I say it's a great way to pay homage to a favorite book - one you've read again and again. Many books are destined for the furnace and with the advent of Kindles books are rapidly becoming less and less abundant. This elevates and reminds us of the power and beauty of the written word. Brava
