Are there any potential problems with replacing the mulch beds around the house with stone or rock?

    Steve is correct...heat can be a problem if the site is in full sun, not so much if there is shade.

    But if you ever have to dig up that area you will curse the person who put down the rock mulch that makes digging such a pain!
