Spring Rainboot Wreath

I am excited to share a new Spring Rainboot Wreath I made for our front door with you.
Here is my new Spring Rainboot Wreath that I made for our front door. I loved my last wreath so much, and when I found these cute kids Rainboots for $2.50, I knew it was time to make a new one.
Here’s what I started with.

This was made from some roses that were given to me by a friend, burlap, kids rainboots and wallpaper.
I wanted to make a cute S P R I N G banner going across and I remembered I had used this darling wallpaper to line some shelves in my kitchen. I cut triangle shapes and lightly pressed them.
I used a pool noodle we had and got out some of this great burlap I had in my scrap bag. I cut strips of it and then wrapped it around the noodle and dotted it with hot glue to secure it.
I cut a bigger piece of burlap to make my bow and a small piece to make the band and hot glued it too. I then glued it to the front of my wreath on an angle.
I wrote out the letters for Spring with a sharpie free hand and then just colored them in. The best part of diy is it doesn’t have to be perfect right? Just perfect for you and your family.
I shaped my wreath in more of an oval shape this time so it can look more like an Egg which reminds me of Easter and Spring.

And there’s a peek of it from the front yard. I hope you like our new Spring Rainboot Wreath today. It was so easy to make and freshens up the front door too. Thank you for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa
