Bathroom Makeover

This dull and dark kids' bathroom needed an update! We chose something colorful and bright, knowing our guests would be using it as well as our children!
Before- jungle themed and green paint. It was fine but the kids are older and need something a little more grown-up. The shower curtain from Target was our inspiration.
We used MDF board to create a faux board and batten look on our walls. The top and bottom boards are 2 3/4 inches wide, and the vertical slats are 1 3/4 inches wide.
We stained our golden oak cabinets with General Finishes' Java Gel Stain, then added metallic silver hardware to complete the cabinets. Read more on the blog:
