Douglas Hunt on Mar 22, 2015Hypertufa is a combination of Portland cement and peat moss, sometimes with perlite added. If you do a search for "hypertufa" using the box at the top of the page, you will find tons of projects from Hometalk members.Helpful Reply

Kristen Rikli on Mar 22, 2015You can also do a Hypertufa search on Pinterest to find a large variety of DIY planters and projects made of Hypertufa. https://www.pinterest.com/kcrik/diy-hypertufa-papercrete-concrete/ The above is a link that is a board on Pinterest showing 137 Hypertufa, as well as "papercrete", and concrete projects. Depending on what you are going to create with it, the size, and the sturdiness needed, has to do with the mixture needed. There are, "pins" on this board that show instructions, tutorials, and a few different recipes for hypertufa as well as at least one other type of mix that uses sand instead of concrete. It is really worth checking out Pinterest. There are a lot of great things on PinterestHelpful Reply
