Dirty hammock

Any ideas on how to clean a Pawley's Island Hammock that is covered in tree sap. Sorry but I don't have a way to post photos.

    Try tuff stuff it is a foam cleaner found in auto at any Walmart. It brought up red lipstick that was left in hot sun from my car seat.

    Use denatured alcohol from a paint or big box store. Put in spray bottle and applied onto material, let soak a few minutes and either put into washing machine or hand scrub with soap. Rinse and dry.

    Maybe using Goo Gone on the sticky sap might take it out. Just a thought.

    I have used the Purrel gel (hand disinfectant) on my car to get out our Pine sap...maybe it can work on cloth...

    I have used Murphy's Oil Soap before and worked well.
