ago? The water is not going into the gutters properly and now the facia(sp) and soffitts have rotted in multiple areas!! Do I contact the gutter people first, and then get a roofer over to look at the situation? I know multiple areas of soffitt etc. will have to be replaced.

Just 6" gutters and downspouts...afraid there's always going to be a need for gutter cleaning! I've taken mine down and am spreading river stone under the eves. I have 2 sections that I'm putting water barrels under for a utility reduction (3% but better'n doodle-y-squat!) Best to ya Handy! JL
  • In some applications, there's another system called Rainhandler which is more of a louver. It essentially hangs like a gutter and turns the roof run-off back into a rain pattern so no downspouts. It won't everywhere but it's perfect for dead areas on roofs or areas where you might have a flower garden. No matter the system, you'll be cleaning it at least once a year. http://youtu.be/bXCBJKLvz44
