I would add some yellow and white to this room.

How about, light grey on the walls and the headboard on the color of the small flowers on the fabric of your stool?

The finish looks good I would use as is and do walls in a small floral print wallpaper and then pull out the colors to make or buy curtains and pillows maybe with some contrasting ribbon or crochet edging!

Hi Mary Beth! The colors in your pics are a little muted- I know that Annie Sloan Provence is a medium depth blue/green color. Since the ottoman appears to have some grey/black in it, then I would paint the headboard a deep charcoal or black. I would paint the walls in a white that has the same blue tones in it to help the painted pieces stand out. This Sea Foam from Benjamin Moore has some teal undertones that would pair nicely with the other colors without being too dark. Chantilly Lace is another color that is a bit "whiter" that would work as well. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/seafoam. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/oc-65#ce_s=chanti

I would do the walls in a soft gray and the headboard in Annie Sloan Graphite. Then, find a rug with all three colors!

Yes a light pastel yellow would look great together with those other colors
  • ...I was going to suggest the AS paint that Sue@ Country Design Homes suggested ! Or a darker Graphite color...:) I see a few comments suggesting yellow, however I think the colors suggested by Sue are classic, and will add elegance to your room. :)

Why not paint this the same as your bedside stands?

You could leave headboard as is. Use a floral wallpaper on the wall behind the bed.
